Welcome to the fifth Ecademy Press Newletter. Our March newletter is a little late this time and appears in the early days of April. As you will see from the contents, this has been a busy time for us. Rob Brown is a well regarded speaker who talks about Turning Relationships in to Profit. His first book for Ecademy Press covers a crucial element of making relationships in the first place – reputation. We all have a reputation – good or bad – and Rob suggests practical methods for making and retaining an excellent reputation. This is a must-read book for anyone who wants to succeed in business. Rod Sloane is noted for his no-nonsense approach to Marketing. His book puts together 121 great ideas in a way that will have you scribbling notes in the margins or filling up your notebook as you decide which ones to try in your business today. Marketing is a vital part of business success – Rod shows you how to maximise on it. Our own Marketing this month includes a stand (R700) at the London Book Fair and the enhancement of our affiliate scheme to a level that makes it one of the most generous in book marketing. We want to pay you money for introducing purchasers to us. More about both items below. Our featured book from the Ecademy Press list this month is The Personal Brandwagon by Tessa Hood. In it Tessa shares many secrets for making a personal impact on the people you meet and need to influence. A top book about a very important area. If you find this newsletter interesting, please pass it on to a friend. If not, please email me at andy@ecademy-press.com and tell me what you would like to see here.

The London Book Fair takes place at Earls Court, London from Monday 16th April until Wednesday 18th April and Ecademy Press will be there. Come and see us and our newest books if you’re plannning to be there.
The London Book Fair is billed as “the world’s leading spring publishing event” and spans two floors of the prestigious Earls Court Exhibition Centre. Everyone who is anyone in the world of publishing will be there and this year that includes us! We are on stand R700 on the upper floor and will be showcasing some of our authors and all of our books. As well as showcasing our books at the Show, we are interested in finding additional options for developing and marketing books and access to further markets (such as the Far East and Australia/New Zealand). We hope that many of our authors will be there and we expect to be able to showcase several new or upcoming books. There will also be an announcement of a new way for authors to market their books using the power of the net to reach out to potentinal readers.
