Royalties
Royalties are paid at 20% of wholesale price, with wholesale being highest via Ecademy Press and lowest via Amazon.
The fixed fee that you pay us means that there are no costs to be covered before we pay you a royalty on sales we make on your behalf.
We pay our authors royalties on a quarterly basis in arrears. Copies purchased at the special author price do not qualify for royalties.
For example
Book sells for £9. 99 on Amazon.
Wholesale Price is 50% of retail = £5.00
Royalty = 20% of Wholesale Price = £1.00
Book sells for £9.99 on Ecademy Press
Wholesale Price is 80% of retail = £8.00
Royalty = 20% of Wholesale Price = £1.60
Affiliates
Becoming an affiliate for Ecademy Press is a great way to earn an additional income whilst promoting your book (or all of our books). We pay 20% of the retail price (excluding delivery) for each sale that is made through your Ecademy Press affiliate account through our own shop. (ie for a book retailing at £9.99,we pay you a fraction under £2.00.
Setting up and using an affiliate account is explained in the linked article and is straightforward to achieve.
We pay affiliates when their earnings exceed £30 (sterling). Any earnings below that level are carried forward until the payment threshold is reached. We then pay by cheque or PayPal according to your affiliate account preferences. You can change your account preferences at any time once logged in to your affiliate account
