Ecademy Press collect information from you only with your agreement. We do not maintain any information unless it has been provided for one of the following purposes:

• Registration: We retain your registration data and use it to recognise you when you log in on future occasions. This may involve placing a cookie on your system if you wish to log in automatically.
• Purchase of a book: The information we collect during purchase is in two parts. The data we collect about you and your delivery requirements is stored on the site and is shared with our distributors and their agents for the sole purpose of fulfilling your order. Your payment details are collected by our payment partner (currently PayPal). We do not see all store those details on our system.
• Electing to receive information from us: We will send information of a promotional nature from time to time, including -- but not restricted to -- newsletters and e-mails. These will be about Ecademy Press, our authors, our books and our activity. If you agree to receive such information (opt in) you can, at any time, choose not to receive it (opt out). Ecademy Press will not spam you.

We are a registered data owner under the Data Protection Act 1998 and your rights under that legislation will be respected at all times. All data kept by Ecademy Press is kept secure.
