Ecademy Press officially enters the publishing world today as a publisher and promoter of books aimed at Ecademy members and others who want to keep up with the changing world of business. The new imprint launches on the Ecademy.com website today ( Wednesday 14 th December, 2005 ) with a book on networking written by Ecademy member Geert Conard.

A Girlfriend in Every City” is Geert’s networking diary and represents his experiences during the year and a half after joining his first online networks (LinkedIn and Ecademy). His personal approach to making and developing connections on these networks and his approach to face to face meetings provide a wealth of insight into one of the most successful networkers on Ecademy.

Further books are in development and will be published in due course. These include “A Friend in Every City” by Ecademy founders Penny and Thomas Power and Ecademy Press founder, Andy Coote which will be published in April 2006 and “Your Personal Brandwagon”, a book on style in the office, by Tessa Hood which will be published in February 2006.

All of our books are listed on ‘British Books in Print’ by Nielsen Bookdata and can be ordered through most bookshops. We are also developing our relationships with Amazon and bookshop distributors. Other benefits to authors include promotion via the growing Ecademy Press website and cooperative marketing programs targeted at Ecademy members.
