London Book Fair 2007 - Update

Our presence at London Book Fair may be small and the overall show huge, nevertheless, the stand has been busy for both days. We’ve met people from many countries and with many interests including potential authors, printers, designers, sales and marketing people and, of course, some of our existing authors.

Our team at the Fair consists of Mindy (our author development director), Angela who is our liaison with authors and designers during book development and Martin who has been responsible for the design of several of our books and some of our best covers (Ahead of The Game, How to Build Your Reputation, BusinessWise). In the picture Mindy, Angela and Martin are seen waiting for the first visitors of the day on Monday morning.

Stand R700 is close to the balcony on the upper floor of Earls Court. From there, the wholeof the ground floor of the exhibition is visible giving some idea of the size of the show. Most of the major publishers are there, along with distributors, printers, software suppliers, freight forwarders and the plethora of other trades and services that support the book trade. It is an exciting event of which to be a part and we are sure that our presence here will have a significant effect on our business for the rest of 2007 and beyond.
